U.S. Terrorism Agency to Tap a Vast Database of Citizens (wsj.com)
Documents obtained in response to Wall Street Journal and ACLU Freedom of Information Act requests reveal that the Obama administration’s 2012 revisions to the National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC) guidelines, that allow the NCTC to collect, store and analyze troves of data on innocent Americans for five years, were approved despite the objections of DHS and DOJ Privacy Officers.
