KNOXVILLE – The Tennessee Coalition for Sensible Justice will host “Stopping the Revolving Door: A Conversation on Safety, Savings and Our Criminal Justice System” on Thursday, December 8 in Knoxville.
Jack McElroy, editor of the Knoxville News Sentinel, will moderate the discussion, which will focus on problems with the current criminal justice system and strategies for change. Panelists include Lindsay M. Boyd, director of policy for the Beacon Center of Tennessee and Thomas H. Castelli, legal director for the American Civil Liberties Union of Tennessee.
The panel discussion, presented in partnership with the USA TODAY NETWORK-Tennessee, is free and open to the public. It will be held in the Cumberland Meeting Room at the Embassy Suites – West Knoxville, located at 9621 Parkside Drive, on Tuesday, November 29 from 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM.
