FBI Pursuing Real-Time Gmail Spying Powers as “Top Priority” for 2013 (slate.com)

The FBI General Counsel announced that the FBI’s top legislative priority in 2013 will be to expand its surveillance abilities by requiring telecommunications providers to make their products like Gmail’s Gchat, Skype videoconferencing, and even online Scrabble, “wiretap ready.”
