The ACLU of Northern California has a couple of submissions that need your votes to get to the next round:

Telling the NSA to [Back] Off highlights some of the best practices for both individuals and companies who want to push back against widespread government surveillance in the face of the NSA’s unprecedented breach of our privacy. Speakers:Chris Conley (ACLU of Northern CA) and Evan Greer (Fight for the Future).

Surveillance on the Silver Screen looks at Hollywood movies and asks the question, can the NSA and the police really do that? From PRISM to drones to ‘Stingrays’ that snoop on cell phones, join us at the movies for a close look at how government surveillance has caught up with the fables dreamed up for Hollywood flicks. Speakers: Timothy Edgar(Watson Institute for International Studies at Brown University), Nicole Ozer (ACLU of Northern CA), andMatthew Cagle (ACLU of Northern CA).
