Bio

Nathalie (‘Nat’) Amazan was a Paralegal in the Immigrants’ Rights Project. Before joining IRP, she was an intern in ACLU’s National Political Advocacy Department. She received her Bachelors Degree from UMass Amherst where she majored in Political Science (BA) and Legal Studies, with a minor in Afro-American studies, and was awarded as a 21st Century Leader. Nat has done political advocacy work regarding prison abolition, restorative justice, and human rights in Palestine. She is also a published poet, writer, and often performs spoken word.
