Bio
Jessie Baird is a paralegal at the ACLU Immigrants’ Rights Project. Jessie graduated summa cum laude from Wellesley College and holds a Master’s Degree in Philosophy with a concentration in Ethics from UCLA. After stepping off the academic path, she worked as a paralegal for the nonprofit environmental law firm Earthjustice before joining the ACLU. Jessie is a volunteer with the San Francisco Fire Department’s Neighborhood Emergency Response Team and Disaster Animal Response Team. She enjoys knitting, garment sewing, jewelry making, terrarium gardening, embroidery, and any other craft she can teach herself from a library book.
