Bio
Elizabeth (Lily) Baggott is a Volunteer Law Clerk at the ACLU Voting Rights Project in New York. She works on teams litigating redistricting and voter suppression challenges in Arkansas, Alabama, Georgia, and South Carolina.
Lily received her J.D. from University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, where she served as the managing editor of the Berkeley Journal of International Law, a research assistant for Professor Saira Mohamed, and a clinical student at the Workers’ Rights Clinic and the Samuelson Law, Technology & Public Policy Clinic. She has interned at the San Francisco Public Defender’s Office and, before law school, at the Office of the Federal
Defender for the District of Connecticut. Lily graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Wesleyan University with a bachelor’s degree in Government and Classical Civilization.
