David Michener and his late spouse, William Herbert Ives, both of Cincinnati, were in a loving and committed relationship for 18 years. They are the parents of three children who they were raising together in Ohio. On July 22, 2013, to celebrate their love and commitment, David and William were married in Delaware. Tragically, William died unexpectedly shortly after their marriage. David joined this case to ensure that William’s death certificate accurately reflected their marriage.
