Bio

Candace Bond (@attorney_bond) is a Legislative Assistant in the ACLU’s Washington Legislative Office.  In this capacity, Bond works to advance the organization’s civil liberties and civil rights agenda in Congress and the executive branch by focusing on LGBT Rights, Reproductive Rights and Women’s Rights.  Bond received her LL.M. degree from the American University Washington College of Law, her J.D. degree from North Carolina Central University School of Law and her B.A. in Human Rights from the College of William and Mary.  She is licensed to practice law in North Carolina.
